It measures about 5" x 6" when folded. The belt is two cotton IZOD shirt cuffs sewn together and attached to some D-rings from my stash of saved 'this and that'. Here you can see that it can be buttoned up after buckling, if you wish.

The strap is half a belt, which appears to be cotton wrapped, but has an elastic core, so there's some stretch.

I left the leather trim buckle attached inside. I don't know why. Maybe people like a buckle in their bag. The lining is from a skirt, with pretty pastels woven together.

And the pocket is peachy cotton from a bundle of fabric I found at the flea market. It actually was an old dress that someone had carefully deconstructed and wrapped up for later use. Win!

The inside is lined with a fabric I got at the flea market. The lady said it was her sister's, who worked at a textile mill. Cotton, I'm sure. Nice and crisp woven stripes. And I put a pocket down in the bottom half of the bag.
