I made these yesterday and 'felt' so wonderful about the results. These wool beads were felted a second time after sewing. And the shirred trunk is from some wonderful woven wool fabric that I scored at Dickson City's famous Circle Drive In flea market.

And there's that bowl again. Do you know how much I love imperfect rustic beauty? Especially when it's thrifted second hand for pennies.

This one is the larger of the two, about 10"w x 10 1/2" h.

Then I was able to make one more with the same sweater. I like it's asymmetrical shape. Just like the trees in the forest.

I thought the second one would be smaller, using up what was left of the beads from this wonderful sweater, but this one measures 9 1/2" x 10 1/2".
